Native Instruments Fm7 Vst

Native Instruments is offering a platform/interface update for theFM7 that makes it compatible with Mac OS X and RTAS; RTAS is alsoincluded for Windows XP.

Native Instruments released FM7 SOUNDS VOL. 1, a collection of 256 new sounds (or patches) for the Native Instrument’s FM7 virtual synthesizer. Installation is very easy. Simply click on the installer and the sounds are copied onto your hard drive in a folder named FM7 Sounds Vol. Here you can find purity vst plugins shared files. There's even a way to use FM7 via the audio input as an insert or send effect within Cubase VST, while still playing the plug‑in via MIDI as normal. FM7 can thus be used as a remix tool to add grunge, distortion and edgy FM effects to existing audio (or any audio within Cubase), or it can use that audio as a complex modulator for a whole Preset.

This update allows the user to run the FM7 as stand-alone or as aplug0in with Pro Tools (Windows XP/Mac OS X) via RTAS, Logic Audio (MacOS X) via Audio Units, and Cubase SX and Nuendo (Mac OS X) via VST 2.0.The FM7 will continue to support VST 2.0 (Windows/Mac OS 9), DXi, MASand FreeMIDI.
